Pintaria Gives College Scholarships for Prospective Students

In the midst of a pandemic that has an economic impact on various layers of Indonesian society, this August, Pintaria as a lifelong learning platform that provides an online / blended learning program presents a college support program for high school / equivalent graduates who excel.

Prospective students can get tuition assistance of up to 50% for 2 (two) years or 4 (four) semesters provided they pass the simultaneous online test from Pintaria, and for the second year, get a minimum GPA of 2.75. Previously, Pintaria was more widely known as an online / blended learning provider for employees or workers, for this program, Pintaria specializes in support for those high school / equivalent graduates in 2019 and 2020 who are still financed by their parents.

“We see that this pandemic has an impact on many circles, including parents who are sending their children to college. For that, through this program we hope to ease the burden on parents and help high-achieving students continue studying at an affordable cost, ”said Novistiar Rustandi, CEO of Pintaria in a press release.

Registration for this program is open until 22 August 2020 and an online simultaneous test will take place on 25 August 2020. Prospective students can choose the blended learning program under Pintaria and several university partners.

There are 5 (five) majors that prospective students can choose, namely S-1 Accounting, S-1 Law, S-1 Management, S-1 Information Systems, and S-1 Informatics Engineering. The universities involved in this program are the IMMI School of Management, Labora Management College, Krisnadwipayana University, MH Thamrin University, Sahid University, and Suryadarma University.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic caused almost all lectures at various universities throughout Indonesia to be carried out online, Pintaria university partners had run a blended learning program, which is a combination of online classroom learning methods and face-to-face classes. For this program, prospective students will only need to pay an initial fee ranging from IDR 250 thousand to IDR 2 million and a monthly tuition fee of around IDR 300 to Rp. 600 thousand per month, depending on the college chosen.

How to Join the Program

Registration for participants in the “Pintaria Supports Lecture” program will be open until August 22, 2020 and online tests will be conducted simultaneously on August 25, 2020. Pintaria provides quota for 200 outstanding students allocated to 6 (six) campus partners in Jabodetabek.

The requirement to get support for the Pintaria tuition fee is to take the online test simultaneously from Pintaria and be declared passed. If selected, prospective students will receive tuition assistance of up to 50 percent for 2 (two) years or 4 (four) semesters.
