Orami Invites Parents to Maximize Technology to Stay Active

A parenting platform known through e-commerce of mother and baby products as well as content services and parenting communities, Orami, held a “Kebaikan dari Rumah” (Sharing the Kindness from Home) campaign in welcoming Ramadan and Eid.

Covid-19 pandemic made Ramadan this year very different from previous years. Ramadan is thick with a communal atmosphere; gathering with family, now must be celebrated in different ways (only in their own homes).

Ferry Tenka, CEO of Orami, said, in times like this the role of the family is very big in ensuring Ramadan worship and a harmonious atmosphere to remain intertwined.

“Technology must be utilized as good as possible, not only to meet daily needs, but also to carry out religious studies and stay in touch,” Ferry said through his statement, Tuesday (4/28/2020).

Orami as much as possible wants to help parents in Indonesia to remain active in the role of Ramadan during the Covid-19 pandemic, to continue to share the goodness of the home.

One of them is by holding a variety of discounts for mothers and babies. Through his application, Orami offers a number of promos – one of which is 70 percent discount – lasts until June 2nd, 2020.

Ruang Konsul, Orami’s Newest Service

In this month of Ramadan, Orami also officially introduces Ruang Konsul into the latest Orami Parenting service. Ruang Konsul is a free consultation room in the Orami Parenting application where users can ask a variety of things about child health and direct household relationships with experts such as obstetricians, pediatricians, and psychologists.

Orami realized that many mothers avoided coming to the hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic. This results in many mothers who find it difficult to consult directly with the doctor. “Through Ruang Konsul we want to be a means for mothers to be able to ask questions directly from doctors and experts online and free of charge.” Ferry said.

Even with the pandemic, Orami hopes that the community can remain active during Ramadan. “Realizing this, Orami as a parenting platform in Indonesia, wants to help parents in Indonesia as much as possible to remain active this Ramadan during the Covid-19 pandemic, by sharing kindness from home.” Ferry said through an official statement.
