1. Samsung Galaxy Chromebook

The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook stole the show at CES 2020 because apart from offering beautiful design, it is also one of the most powerful Chromebooks on the market today. Galaxy Chromebook is equipped with a 4K resolution AMOLED display that also offers Ambient EQ technology for automatic brightness adjustment and color reproduction.

Not only that, but the Galaxy Chromebook also comes with a built-in stylus, Wi-Fi 6 support, dual-camera, convertible design, and a 10th generation Intel processor. The price is at US$ 999 or around IDR 13.6 million.

The Galaxy Chromebook has some standout features, but the most prominent one is what Samsung and Google call “craftsmanship.” At just 9.9mm thick and weighing 2.29 pounds, it’s the world’s thinnest Chromebook.

2. Withings ScanWatch

There are quite a few smartwatches on display at CES 2020, but only a few are considered good ones. One of those good ones is Withings ScanWatch. This smartwatch promises two big features, namely an FDA-approved ECG sensor that can detect arrhythmias and sleep apnea accurately.

Apart from these health features, Withings ScanWatch is also equipped with many features that are generally found on smartwatches. For everything else, the Withings ScanWatch uses a sapphire glass front, a 316K stainless steel body, is equipped with GPS and has a 5ATM water resistance rating.

3. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is really cool tech gadgets because it is a laptop with a foldable screen. With this capability, the X1 Fold can be used as a monitor, tablet, or ordinary laptop. One of the craziest things that the X1 Fold has is its excellent screen flexibility and it can be said to surpass Samsung’s Galaxy Fold.

Apart from that, it also has a super slim Bluetooth keyboard, which can be placed between the folded screens. The X1 Fold will begin to be released commercially in the middle of this year with prices starting at US$ 2,499 or around IDR 34.1 million.

4. OnePlus Concept One

OnePlus is not a brand that likes to attend CES, but this year, the Chinese brand is taking part. Interestingly, instead of being ‘fierce’ like the others, OnePlus chose to be ‘calm’ by only showing off one product.

One product is the Concept One, whose main selling point and the advantage is the use of electrochromic glass on top of the camera. With this, the Concept One has a camera that can disappear when not needed. OnePlus itself still hasn’t planned a commercial release for the Concept One but promises to bring this technology to their cellphones in the future.

In the concept that OnePlus exhibited at CES 2020, an electric signal is used to change the glass from transparent to tinted or vice versa. In addition, this technology is also used by OnePlus to become the rear camera filter on the concept phone.

5. Insta360 One R

Action cameras with 4K wide-angle capability may be commonplace, but modular action cameras with ‘disassembly’ parts, aren’t. The Insta360 One R is destined to revolutionize the action camera industry by allowing users to not only switch lenses but also sensors.

The modular operation of the One R is pretty clever, where instead of changing a different lens on the stock body, each lens module is equipped with its own sensor. Through this, One R has a “custom” character, which can be adjusted according to your needs.

6. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite

Samsung made a move in the affordable flagship HP market with the release of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. This is an advancement for Samsung in an effort to reach all segments without having to create more new series.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and is powered by the Exynos 9810 chipset, along with 6 / 8GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage and a 4,500mAh battery. Apart from that, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite also carries three rear cameras (12MP + 12MP + 12MP) and a fully functional S Pen like the two “brothers”.

7. Alienware Concept UFO

Alienware is known for its gaming laptops. At CES 2020, showcasing their first portable gaming device. It is still a prototype device and is called the Concept UFO. Basically, the Concept UFO is a portable PC-gaming with a design similar to the Nintendo Switch and running Windows 10.

Besides the similar design, the Concept UFO also mimics the detachable Switch controller model. Even so, in terms of specifications, the Concept UFO excels over the Switch because it has a sharper screen with FHD resolution and Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port connectivity.
