Smart Farming 4.0 Technology through RiTx
Smart Farming 4.0 technology that is blocked by MSMB through RiTx includes Agri Drone Sprayer (pesticide and liquid fertilizer drone), Drone Surveillance (drone for land mapping), Soil and Weather Sensor (soil and weather sensor), to Water Debit Sensor (sensor water discharge). In the process, MSMB will implement a traceability system.
“The idea of a traceability system initiated by MSMB is in fact an advantage and is able to attract the attention of the judges at the Hermes Startup Award 2020,” he told reporters on Saturday (6/27/2020).
Kiwi revealed that Traceability is a risk management tool to respond to people’s food quality needs. Based on farming activities that are inputted by farmers through the RiTx Bertani application, farm products will be equipped with a QR code containing information on the farmers’ cultivation.
“The hope is to invite consumers to be more literate about the quality of food products consumed. For farmers themselves, traceability is an added value for the products they sell,” he said
“Currently, traceability is still in the development stage of MSMB, we will probably launch it in the next few months,” he added.
He considered MSMB’s achievements at the Hermes Startup Award to be a pride not only for UMG Idealab, but also included more than 3,000 MSMB members, 1,278 registered farmers, 200 working partners, the Government, stakeholders, and all Indonesian people who had supported.
