GrabExpress Releases a Line of New Features to Help MSMEs
GrabExpress has just announced a series of new features in its service. The presence of this new feature, according to the Head of GrabExpress Grab Indonesia, Tyas Apsari, is expected to be able to support the activities of MSME players and general users.
“Today, we are announcing several innovations that are present at GrabExpress. We hope that this innovation can help MSME colleagues in Indonesia or society in general,” he said while talking to media crews, Friday (5/2/2021).
One of the innovations presented in the GrabExpress service, said Tyas, is the application display that is made simpler and smoother. This change is also expected to make it easier for users when sending.
“We have launched this update regularly. This week, everyone who has updated the application via the Play Store and App Store should be able to see a new look on GrabExpress,” he explained.
With this new interface, it is also easier for Grab users to find out shipping costs. So, users only need to enter the delivery location and destination, shipping costs can be detected immediately, without the need to enter the full address first.
Another feature that is also present on GrabExpress is a delivery form. Through this feature, users or partners of MSME players can ask recipients to fill out a form with a destination address, so that the location can be more accurate.
“This feature is here because we hear input from GrabExpress users. The challenge usually faced by delivery services is that senders sometimes do not know exactly where to go, so that recipients who know their area better can fill in themselves,” said Tyas.
Make Tracking Easy
GrabExpress now also makes it easier for users to track packages sent, especially for users who send many packages at once in one package. “So now users can see the status of each package sent. Because, we also listen to anxious SMEs or social sellers if the goods have not arrived, so we want to help with that concern,” explained Tyas.
There is also a message feature for addresses that were previously sent to. So, the destination address can be stored and users can place orders directly to the recipient. GrabExpress is now helping to improve the capabilities of the delivery system to many destinations.
Armed with this upgrade, the system will automatically present the fastest and closest route, thus lowering shipping costs. “In this latest version, it is easy to just one button after entering several destination addresses, users can immediately find out how to find the fastest route to their destination,” he said further.
GrabExpress Club Skipper Program
Since last year, GrabExpress also launched the Club Juragan GrabExpress program which is still being continued today. By joining this program, the main users of UMKM will get a number of benefits.
Some of them are the promotion of shipping costs that are different from those in the application, marketing assistance through the Grab Indonesia account, to access to model loans.
There are also webinars and business tips every month that users can follow. Tyas said, MSME players who are interested in joining this program can register themselves through the GrabExpress Juragan Club blog.
Foods are the Top Items Sent via GrabExpress
According to the Head of GrabExpress Grab Indonesia, Tyas Apsari, food is the item most sent via GrabExpress considering the services offered do serve fast delivery needs, both for express and same day.
“Because with our services which are express and same day, while food cannot last long, many users prefer our services rather than expeditions,” he said when meeting with media crews virtually in Jakarta, Friday (5/2/2021) afternoon.
In addition, other items that are often sent via GrabExpress are fashion products. Meanwhile, the last item that has now increased its delivery documents.
