Meanwhile, President Qlue Maya Arvini said, the main factors in the implementation of Industry 4.0 were fully automated processes and faster data exchange. The process of this industrial revolution is not only the backbone of economic development in Indonesia, but also the world.

“Through the digital technology ecosystem, the operational process will be end-to-end so that it becomes more effective and efficient in implementation in the field,” he said in an official statement received on Monday (20/12/2021).

In addition, the implementation of information technology to encourage Industry 4.0 is also the focus of the government in attracting a lot of investment. This is also driven by the use of5G which has started operating in Indonesia this year.

This condition also makes the Ministry of Communication and Information to encourage collaboration from 5G service providers and industry players so that the potential derived from the implementation of Industry 4.0 can run optimally.

“With the presence of 5G technology, of course, it can accelerate existing programs, because the key in the development of Industry 4.0 is connectivity. The government will also focus on strengthening regulations and policies so that their governance will be more optimal,” said the Director of Resource Management at the Ministry of Communication and Information, Deni Setiawan.

Qlue is Ready to Drive the Recovery of the Indonesian Tourism Industry with Technology

Previously, Qlue was also ready to encourage the recovery of the tourism industry through the use of digital technology. According to Qlue’s President, Maya Arvini, security and safety are now the main focus of tourists in traveling.

This makes the use of technology a crucial aspect in increasing the confidence of people who want to travel considering the situation in Indonesia is also not completely safe from the Covid-19 virus.

On the other hand, for tourism industry players, technology plays an important role to reactivate business activities in order to gain public trust.

For this reason, the application of technology is expected to provide a better sense of security for tourists because it can reach a wider operational aspect, but still be efficient.

“Tourist areas are now getting busier and more vibrant and the use of technology makes it possible to anticipate crowds, one of which is people counting technology and vehicle counting,” Maya said in an official statement received on Thursday (2/12/2021).

With technology, detection will be faster which allows stakeholders to respond to situations better and more accurately.
