After collaborating with the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Kemenparekraf), Binar Academy is ready to become a strategic partner of the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg).

This was conveyed by the Cofounder of Binar Academy, Dita Aisyah, when receiving a visit from the Public Relations of the State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia to discuss various opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions.

“We can provide various forms of support, starting from supporting the implementation of the digital transformation of ASN (State Civil Apparatus) within the Ministry of State Secretariat, or various other strategic actions,” said Dita through her statement, Wednesday (8/6/2022).

Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Eddy Cahyono Sugiarto, said that his party hoped this visit could be a good start and be implemented in collaborative work between institutions.

“On this visit, we are just building the initial relationship. Of course, it is possible to be a good start for various collaborations in the future. God willing, after this initial gathering, we will continue with other activities that are beneficial to the community,” said Eddy.

Binar Academy said that the need for digital talent is currently increasing, not only technology startups but also various companies that are conducting digital transformation or even the government that is developing smart cities.

The high demand for practitioners in the field of technology, especially programmers, provides opportunities for the younger generation to work in this sector. Therefore, Binar Academy is here to help improve the competence of digital talents.

Kemkominfo Gives 500 IT Training Scholarships for Fresh Graduates

The Ministry of Communication and Information collaborates with Binar Academy to hold a training program to increase competence in the ICT field, which is named the Fresh Graduate Academy.

As the name implies, this program is held to encourage fresh graduates to compete in domestic and foreign industries.

In this program, the Ministry of Communication and Information has prepared 500 scholarships to prepare graduates who have not or are not working to have professional competence.

According to the Head of the Center for Professional Development and Certification of Human Resources Research and Development Kemkominfo Hedi M. Idris, this scholarship is a form of commitment Kemkominfo to improve the quality of human resources in the field of technology.

“We are committed to providing access to technology training in Indonesia, one of which is through the Fresh Graduate Academy program,” he said.

The Ministry of Communication and Information provides opportunities for fresh graduates who are not or are not currently working to have professional competence. It is hoped that this learning model can help develop the ability of each participant to become a digital talent that is the pride of Indonesia.

In an official statement received on Sunday (5/6/2022), Binar Academy’s Director of Business Development, Dita Aisyah, said that her party welcomed this program positively. He also admitted that Binar Academy is open to collaborating with other parties in holding similar programs.

Expectations of This Scholarship Project

He further said that the Binar Academy curriculum which was formed for the Fresh Graduate Academy program has been certified by the Finnish Education Alliance and has been adopted by leading brands from various industries.

To take part in this program, prospective participants must have Indonesian citizenship with a maximum age of 27 years at the time of registration. In addition, the participants must also pass the administrative selection and online substance test.

Currently, the scholarship program being held is aimed at project management. It is hoped that participants who take part in this program can learn to make digital products that are in line with customer pain points and social problems.

In addition, referring to the LinkedIn page data, there are more than 2,000 job vacancies in the product management field in Indonesia. The plan is that this training program will last for one month starting from July to August 2022, adjusting to the situation and conditions.
