KlinikGo did not specify the amount of investment obtained. However, this health startupthat was founded in 2019 plans to expand to other countries.

Fresh funds will also be used for product development and strengthening the supply chain. “KlinikGo has more than 500 thousand users and 25 employees,” as quoted from Tech InAsia, Tuesday (12/10).

After the funding round, Gaido Group will also collaborate with health technology companies to open 200 clinics across Indonesia. This is through a financing agreement. Based on the official website, KlinikGo provides home care services, a directory of nearby clinics, and telemedicine.

This startup collaborates with Perawatku.id, Lifepack, Lifepal, Konsuldok, Tirta Medical Centre, Genetics Indonesia, Farmalab, AnterAja, and Apotek Em De Tangerang Selatan.

At the end of last year, venture capital estimated that many Indonesian health startupsattracted investors and had the potential to consolidate in 2021.

Eddi Danusaputro the president director of Mandiri Capital Indonesia said investors were eyeing Indonesian health startups series B and above.

“The trend in the country should also increase (funding). However, there are not many healthtech startups, especially in the growth stage,” said Eddi, late last year (30/12/2020).

In the United States (US), health startups that receive the most funding are artificial intelligence (AI) based.

With these various business lines, health startups are helping to deal with the pandemic from many sides. This makes the demand for services in this sector soar, so that healthtech is in demand by investors.

Improving Health Services, Klinikgo Collaborates with Perawatku

Currently, people are in dire need of health services to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Moreover, patients who are sick and cannot leave the house are in dire need of health services.

Therefore, Klinikgo collaborates with Perawatku to help people who have difficulty in getting access to health facilities and personnel.

As is known, Klinikgo is a technology service that connects clinic-based on-demand homecare and independent practice with its clients.

With the increasing demand for health services that are easily accessible, Klinikgo is here as a solution to make it easier for the public to carry out health checks at various health facility partners.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Klinikgo, Ogy Winenriandhika said, this collaboration will help patients as well as clinics who are partners in meeting the needs of facilities and health workers.

“So we and Perawatku will work together where the clinics partner clinics do not need to recruit nurses or full-time nurses to be able to serve patients directly on-demand,” he said in a written statement.

Providing Services Between Health Facilities and Health Workers

Ogy also explained that Klinikgo will provide services between health facilities and health workers through the Klinikgo platform. According to him, this can make it easier for patients who need medical care.

“Through the Klinikgo platform, patients can directly order their needs, then health workers from Perawatku will come to be able to serve several services that we are currently focusing on,” he said.

In addition, there are several services that can be ordered through the Klinikgo platform. First is the covid screening service, then the Immune Booster or vitamin C injection, then vaccination.

“For Covid Screening, for example, there is a service that is listed on Klinikgo. The flow is they choose the homecare service, then the closest health worker will come from the location to go to the patient. Now the health worker is facilitated by Perawatku via the Klinikgoplatform,” he said.

Then, continued Ogy, for the immune booster service, the picture is the same. Patients who need services will register with Klinikgo, then patients choose services, then health workers or nurses will directly come to the house.
